Investment Casting Process:
1. Tooling Make
High precision tooling make.
2. Wax Pattern
- Injection Molten wax into the metal molds to obtain the final part geography.
3. Trees Asembly
- After repairing the wax pattern, several wax pattern are welded to form a sprue tree.
4. Shells Making
- The wax pattern are dipped into slurry several times to make a harden shell of the part, and dry it in the drying room
5. Dewaxing & Roasting
- The Shell is fired at high temperatures to remove the wax and ensuring the mold is ready for metal pouring.
6. Pouring and Casting
- Molten metal is poured into the preheated mold, allowed it cool and solidified.
8. Shell Knockout
- Once the metal has cooled, the shell needs to be vibrated and broken away using mechanical machine, revealing the metal castings.
9. Cutting and Finishing
- First cust the individual part from the sprue, then subject to finishing process, such as grinding, polishing or machining to achieve the final dimensions and surface quality.
