The Silica Sol Casting Process

1Pattern Make: Precision wax patterns are produced using injection molding machine.

2. Trees Assembly: After Wax Pattern made and repaired, need to assembled into a tree.
3. Slurry Coating: The patterns are dipped into silica sol-based ceramic slurry, building up multiple layers.
4. Stucco Application: Refractory materials are applied between layers to enhance shell strength.
5. Dewaxing: The assembly is heated to remove the wax pattern, leaving a hollow ceramic mold.
6. Roasting: The ceramic shell is fired at high temperatures to achieve final strength.
7. Casting: Molten metal is poured into the prepared mold.
8. Shell Removal: After cooling, the ceramic shell is broken away to reveal the cast part.
